Mark Beddy

Mark Beddy is a Trustee at the British Council. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the financial and real estate sectors. Prior to their current position, they served as a Governor and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Cumnor House Sussex from 1999 to 2012. Mark was also a Senior Partner at Deloitte LLP from 2002 to 2018, where they focused on asset-backed, FTSE-listed, and private businesses in sectors such as real estate investment, construction, infrastructure, property development, housebuilding, hospitality & leisure, and healthcare. Mark has also held positions as a Partner at Arthur Andersen and as a Director at Study Group International.

Mark Beddy has a diploma in Professional Accounting from University College Dublin, a diploma in Advanced Studies (Musical Performance) from the Royal Northern College of Music, and a BComm in Business Studies from University College Dublin.
