Nikhitha Benny Myppan

Nikhitha Benny Myppan is a qualified professional in the field of Food Science and Biotechnology, currently serving as a Quality Specialist in Materials and Systems at Britvic plc since August 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Technical Assistant at Green Origins, where Nikhitha conducted start-up checks and handled raw material sampling and laboratory analysis. Nikhitha also completed a research internship at the Central Food Technological Institute, focusing on the analysis of phytochemicals in allspice leaves, characterizing volatiles, and formulating a value-added product. Earlier work includes a quality control internship at MEGASYS BIOTEK PRIVATE LIMITED, performing routine product testing and using chromatographic techniques. Nikhitha holds a Master’s degree in Food Science with a specialization in Food Biotechnology from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.
