Sue Clark is an experienced business leader who has held a number of senior positions in some of the world's biggest companies. Sue is currently an independent non-executive director at Britvic, and has previously served on the boards of Imperial Brands PLC, AkzoNobel, Bakkavor, Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Tulchan Communications LLP, and SABMiller.
Clark has a proven track record in turning around underperforming businesses. When they took over as managing director of SABMiller Europe in 2012, the company was struggling due to the financial crisis and changing consumer tastes. However, under their leadership, the company turned things around and sales started to grow again.
Clark is a passionate advocate for gender diversity in the workplace. When they were appointed as the first woman operational managing director at SABMiller, they made it their mission to promote more women into leadership roles. As a result of their efforts, the company now has a much more diverse management team.
Clark is widely respected for their business acumen and strategic thinking.
