Oren Penso

Oren Penso is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product strategy, security, and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as the Global Field CTO at Broadcom Software since September 2024, Oren drives product strategy and collaborates with R&D teams on the Tanzu roadmap. Oren has held various roles at VMware Tanzu, including Director of Product Strategy, where a focus on AI strategy development and portfolio messaging was paramount, as well as Global Field CISO, Senior Product Line Manager for Kubernetes Security, and Technical Lead for Emerging Solutions. Oren's prior experience includes leadership positions at Migdal Group, Bank of Jerusalem, and MalamTeam, along with an academic background including an MBA in Information Technology. Oren is also a member and investor at CCL, engaging with early-stage cybersecurity ventures, and has contributed to education as a lecturer in a CISO course at See-Security.
