Akhila Menon

Akhila Menon is an experienced freelance journalist currently contributing to Broadview Magazine since May 2023. Previously, Menon served as an Audience Strategist at Indiegraf and worked as a freelance journalist for Giddy. Other notable roles include a JHR Fellowship at The Tyee and a Teaching Assistant position at The University of British Columbia. Menon has also held editorial internships with Vancouver Magazine and Western Living Magazine, as well as a social media internship at Ricochet Media. Earlier freelance writing efforts took place at Tyche Softwares and the Purple Pencil Project. Menon holds a Master's degree in Journalism from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Mithibai College of Arts.
