Alberto Nin Garaizabal

Alberto Nin Garaizabal is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Managing Director at Brookfield Asset Management since October 2016, Alberto has also held positions as Senior Vice President and Vice President within the same firm. Prior to Brookfield, Alberto worked at H.I.G. Capital as a Senior Associate and at UBS Investment Bank as an Associate Director focused on the EMEA Oil & Gas team, later transitioning to the Mergers & Acquisitions team. Alberto's career began with an internship in Mergers & Acquisitions at Telefonica. Alberto holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and also studied Business Administration at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
