Rebecca Kinsella

Rebecca Kinsella, LMSW, serves as the Associate Director of Social Work at Brooklyn Defenders, where responsibilities include supervising social workers in the Homicide & Major Felony Unit. With previous experience as a Senior Social Worker at the Center for Court Innovation, Rebecca supervised clinical staff, contributed to program development, and engaged in grant writing. Earlier roles include Youth Justice Social Worker and a series of internships focused on mental health advocacy and support. Rebecca holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
