Danilo Machado is an experienced producer and coordinator in public programs, currently serving as the Producer of Public Programs at Brooklyn Museum since September 2017 and as a Freelance Public Programs Coordinator. Prior experience includes roles as a Museum Education Fellow, a Curatorial Assistant at Socrates Sculpture Park, and a Guest Curator at Franklin Street Works, where a group exhibition focusing on erasure in text and body was curated. Danilo has also contributed to the literary community as a Book Seller at Books Are Magic and served as a Production Assistant for The Brooklyn Rail. Early career involvement includes coordinating for Connecticut Students for a Dream and various positions at UConn Stamford, where a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies were earned.
