Richard Midgley

Richard Midgley is an experienced professional in both sports and finance, currently serving as a Scout for the Brooklyn Nets since September 2019. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Financial Advisor at Stifel Financial Corp. from October 2018 to August 2023, and held the position of West Region Scout for the Atlanta Hawks from September 2016 to June 2018. Richard also contributed to the development of young athletes as a Teacher and Basketball Coach at Modesto Christian High School from May 2011 to September 2016. Earlier experience includes working as a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, and a Sports Professional in the British Basketball League. Richard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2002 and 2006.
