Mark Dieterich

Mark Dieterich has been with Brown University since July 1997, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and HIPAA Security Officer, where oversight of the Information Security team is paramount. Previous roles at the university include Director of Information Technology, Security, and Director of Information Technology, focusing on security architecture and IT management. Mark's experience extends beyond academia, as evidenced by roles such as Audio Engineer at Stone Church Coffee House and various leadership positions in bicycle advocacy organizations. Mark holds a BA in Physics from Carleton College and has a history of significant volunteer involvement with several non-profits.
