Richard Jones

Richard Jones, K.C. is an experienced legal professional specializing in corporate, commercial, and environmental law, with particular expertise in irrigation and water rights, municipal and planning law, and natural resource extraction and development. Currently serving as Counsel at Brownlee LLP since April 2022, Richard's environmental practice encompasses water conveyance, allocation, licensing, storm and wastewater management, contaminated site remediation, and EPEA offences. Previously, Richard held roles as Principal at McMillan Vantage Policy Group and Partner at McMillan LLP, where the focus was also on litigation and environmental law. Richard co-founded Vipond Jones LLP, concentrating on commercial dispute resolution in water resources and municipal planning, and started as an Associate at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP specializing in insurance and commercial litigation.
