John Burris is an accomplished advisor and investor with over 20 years of experience in the digital, media, and tech ecosystems. Currently serving as an advisor at Bruin Capital, John also holds positions at The Owners Fund as an investor, advisor, and board member, focusing on early-stage companies. As the founder of MetaJuice, John developed the world’s largest web3 metaverse and created the first stablecoin supported by an SEC No Action Letter. Previously, John served as Chief Business Development & Blockchain Officer at Together Labs, leading significant corporate and business development initiatives in the blockchain space, and as President and founder of Silver Chalice and SportsLabs. John's career includes notable roles at Sprint as Vice President of Wireless Media, at Orbit Commerce as a co-founder, and at Accenture as a senior developer. John holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Iowa State University.
