Thorsten Maly is a Ph.D. graduate in Physical Chemistry from Goethe University Frankfurt, with extensive experience in the field of magnetic resonance technology. Currently serving as the Director of EPR Innovation and Business Development at Bruker BioSpin since October 2024, Thorsten Maly is tasked with driving innovation and growth in the global EPR business. Prior to this role, Thorsten co-founded Bridge12 Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included the development of compact terahertz sources and instrumentation for applications such as Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) enhanced NMR spectroscopy, culminating in the company's acquisition by Bruker. Additional roles include serving as an Executive Committee Member at ENC Conference and a Board of Advisors member for the GAIN German Academic International Network, as well as research positions at MIT and the University of Frankfurt, focusing on EPR methods and education.
