Markus Samarajiwa

Markus Samarajiwa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, consulting, and project management within the manufacturing and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Abteilungsleiter Industry 4.0, Transformation & Sustainability and Lead Business Consultant at msg since March 2015, Markus focuses on digital twin technologies and process consulting. Prior roles at IBM included Key-Account-Manager for Global Leader Engineering and Production, where responsibilities spanned smart mobility and systems engineering. Additional experience includes consulting and lectures in collaboration and workflow management, alongside a background in vehicle exterior systems development. Markus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (TU) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and completed a study project in Polymer Engineering at Brunel University of London.
