Hidemaru was also the president and CEO of AOL Japan and Sato Office. Additionally, they have been the CEO and general manager of comScore Japan and the country manager of Japan operation for DoubleClick /Abacus Japan. Sato began their career as a product planning manager for Nihon Unisys in December 1980 and became the president and CEO of Citizen America Corporation in September 1987.

Hidemaru Sato's educational career consists of a master's degree in control engineering and computer science from Stanford University, as well as a bachelor's degree in computer science from Waseda University.
