Margaret Keane

Margaret Keane is the current director at buildOn. Margaret has also previously held positions at Allstate, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, buildOn, St. John's University, Synchrony, and GE Capital. At GE Capital, they served as the CEO of GE Capital Retail Finance & GE Capital Retail Bank from June 2004 to April 2011. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at GE Capital from 1996-2004 including Global Operations Leader & Shared Services Leader for the Mid-Market Leasing Business, Chief Quality Leader of GECC, and SVP Operations of the Consumer Finance Business. Margaret Keane began their career in 1980 at Citibank in Retail Bank Operations and left in 1996 to join GE Capital.

Margaret Keane attended St. John's University, where they earned their MBA in marketing from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at St. John's University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics.
