Eric de Boer

Eric de Boer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure delivery and management within public sector organizations. Currently serving as the Manager Infrastructure Delivery at Buller District Council since October 2019, Eric leads the strategic direction of the Infrastructure Delivery function, overseeing portfolios including transport, roading, three waters, and waste management. Previously, Eric worked with the Department of Conservation for 17 years in various roles, including Senior Ranger - Operations, Project Manager, and Programme Manager - Visitor Facilities, focusing on strategic management of visitor facilities across national parks. Eric holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from NZIHT WITT, a Bachelor of Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management from Lincoln University, and multiple diplomas in construction management, strategic management, and leadership.
