Muhammad Alkatiri

Muhammad Alkatiri is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. Currently serving as General Manager - Projects at Bumi Armada since October 2014, Muhammad has successfully led significant projects including the FPSO Olombendo in Angola and the FPSO TGT1 Gas Turbine Restaging in Vietnam. Previous roles encompass Project Manager, FPSO Shutdown Manager, and Offshore Construction Manager, demonstrating a strong capability in managing multi-discipline teams, budget control, risk management, and stakeholder liaison. Muhammad's career began at Acergy, progressing through reputable firms such as Leighton Offshore and Leighton Contractors, where responsibilities ranged from bid management to engineering oversight. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering & Science in Project Management from UNSW and a BEng (Hons) in Marine Technology from the University of Plymouth.
