Alice Francis

Alice Francis is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and leadership within the tech and logistics sectors. Currently serving as a member at Chief and the Chief Operating Officer at Scenset, Alice also provides advisory support to Buncha and mentors emerging entrepreneurs through First Round Fast Track. Notably, Alice held the position of General Manager for the West & Mountain Regions at DoorDash and was the EVP and Head of Operations at Shipt, contributing to its acquisition by Target. Previous roles include Director of Product & Operations at Tapingo and City Manager for Instacart in NYC. Alice has a significant track record in fundraising and management, demonstrated during tenure as Managing Director of the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition. Academically, Alice holds degrees in Physics from Hamilton College and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, complemented by specialized coursework in Gravitational Wave Physics.
