Tereza Bicalho currently serves as the SBTi AFOLU Sector Lead at WWF-France since December 2022, following a role as SBTi Climate and Land Technical Manager at WWF from April 2021 to January 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fundacao Carlos Chagas Filho De Amparo A Pesquisa Do Estado Do Rio De Janeiro-Faperj from July 2018 to December 2020 and at FAPESP from June 2014 to April 2018. Tereza also worked as a Consultant for the United Nations Environment Programme in early 2013 and as a Doctoral Researcher at the French Agency for Ecological Transition ADEME from February 2009 to February 2012. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Project Assistant at UNEP/Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production in 2007. Tereza holds a Postdoctorate in Energy and Environment from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, a PhD in Management with a focus on Environmental Accounting, and two Master's degrees in Sustainable Development and Organizations, as well as Environmental Management from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and Tongji University, respectively.
