Musaed Albaghdadi

Musaed Albaghdadi is an Electrical Design Associate at Burns Engineering, Inc. since August 2024, previously serving as an Energy System Designer II at Tesla where Musaed developed residential photovoltaic systems with electrical energy storage, ensuring compliance with NEC and CEC regulations. Musaed also held the position of Energy System Designer, further focusing on optimal system placement and permitting. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia MPlab, Musaed contributed to innovative research projects. Musaed's experience also includes working as an Electrical Engineer intern at Agility, involved in sustainable design projects across multiple regions, and a Hardware Engineer within the Quality of Life Plus Program, developing assistive technology for individuals with physical impairments. Musaed earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University, and participated in the Kuwait Graduate Program through the Institute of International Education.
