Steve Kloos

Steve Kloos is a seasoned professional in the water technology and cleantech sectors, currently serving as a Partner at Burnt Island Ventures since October 2023, focusing on supporting water entrepreneurs globally. With extensive experience, Kloos has been a Board Member at Current Innovation since March 2016 and an Advisory Member & Judge at Imagine H2O since July 2010. Previously, Kloos held significant roles at True North Venture Partners as Senior Advisor and Partner, and served as CEO of AquaHydrex, Inc. from November 2019 to May 2023, where innovative water electrolysis technologies were developed. Further contributions include advisory roles with Singapore's Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources and leadership positions at GE Water & Process Technologies and Osmonics, Inc. Kloos earned a PhD in Chemistry from North Dakota State University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
