Lei Takanashi

Lei Takanashi is a seasoned correspondent currently contributing to The Business of Fashion since July 2024, following a role as Staff Writer at Complex Networks from July 2019 to February 2024, where long-form features and trending topics in fashion were the focus. Takanashi also served as Guest Curator for Abrons Arts Center, collaborating on a project about Lower East Side photographer Clayton Patterson. Prior experience includes freelance writing for esteemed publications, a merchandising role at Grailed, and editorial positions at Mass Appeal and The Stony Brook Press. Takanashi holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History from Stony Brook University and graduated from The Bronx High School of Science.
