Erik Smid

Erik Smid is a sociaal psychiatrisch verpleegkundige with extensive experience in the mental health field. Since March 2019, Erik has been employed at BuurtzorgT. Prior to this, Erik worked at Altrecht from May 2013 to February 2019 as a trainer specializing in suicide prevention within a multidisciplinary framework. Erik also held positions at Crisisdienst Zeist from November 2010 to February 2019, providing on-call crisis services, and at Altrecht, FACT Zeist from February 2009 to February 2019, where Erik supported clients with severe long-term psychiatric issues. Erik began their career at Altrecht in November 1992 as a verpleegkundige in a closed ward until February 2009, contributing to various working groups. Erik's educational background includes a Post HBO SPV degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and a propadeuse in sociology from the University of Amsterdam.
