Henry Hu

Henry Hu is an accomplished engineering leader specializing in platform architecture with extensive experience in server architecture and memory and storage systems. Currently serving as the Director of Platform Architecture at ByteDance since May 2022, Henry oversees server hardware system architecture and GPU/AI application platform architecture. Previously, roles included Platform Architecture Lead at Intel Corporation, Chief Memory and Storage Architect at Futurewei Technologies, and various engineering positions at companies such as Samsung Electronics and Micron Technology, where contributions were made to memory technology R&D. An active member of the Gen-Z Consortium, Henry also holds advanced degrees in solid-state electronics and computer engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Delft University of Technology.
