Jeffrey Simard

Jeffrey Simard is a seasoned director at C4 Therapeutics, Inc., with a progressive career encompassing roles as Associate Director and Senior Research Scientist II since July 2016. In this capacity, Jeffrey leads drug discovery programs and develops high-throughput assays for small molecules targeting disease-causing protein degradation. Prior experience includes a scientist role at Amgen, where Jeffrey created biochemical and cell-based assays for ion channels and GPCRs, and a project leader position at the Chemical Genomics Centre, focusing on kinase inhibitor screening. Additional roles include post-doctoral research addressing drug resistance in kinases and studying fatty acid trafficking, complemented by a PhD in Pharmacology from Boston University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Union College.
