Farooq Khalid

Farooq Khalid is an experienced technology sales leader with a strong background in account management and business development across various organizations. Currently serving as an Account Director at Cadence Design Systems since April 2023, Farooq previously held the position of SVP - Sales & Business Development and Head of Products at SKAEL, Inc., where a successful enterprise workflow automation platform was developed. Farooq's extensive experience includes a notable tenure at Dimension Data, leading sales engineering teams and significantly increasing revenue for global client accounts. Earlier roles at Cisco Systems, WindRiver Systems, and Unisys Corporation provided foundational skills in sales and technical engineering. Farooq holds a Master of Science in Computer Networks and Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
