Cecilia Guerra has extensive experience in climate action, sustainability, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Principal Executive for Climate Action and Environment at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina since October 2014, Cecilia has held various leadership roles focusing on sustainability and climate change. Previous positions include Professor and Scientific Researcher at Universidad Tecnologica de Panamá, Coordinator for Agroecological Zoning Program at Ministerio de Desarrollo Agropecuario, and Director of Scientific Research at SENACYT. Cecilia's academic background includes a Doctorate in Sciences with a focus on Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as several degrees in Biological Sciences from UFSCar.
