Jamie Fanous serves as the Policy Director at Community Alliance with Family Farmers since January 2021, focusing on advancing policies that support small-scale and underserved farms. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Policy Advocate & Organizer, where advocacy efforts were centered on promoting social justice and equity in policy. Jamie has a background in sustainable agriculture with the National Center for Appropriate Technology and has contributed to soil health research at the Soil Health Institute and Tufts University. Academically, Jamie holds multiple degrees from Tufts University and The George Washington University in agriculture policy, urban and environmental policy, and environmental studies, complemented by international experience in Ghana.
