Claire Grant

Claire Grant is a seasoned professional in gender and inclusion, currently serving as a Gender and Inclusion Adviser at CAFOD since October 2021. Prior to this role, Claire worked as a Social Development Adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, focusing on economic empowerment and addressing inequality. Previous positions include Women's Protection Adviser at ActionAid, where Claire innovated on community-based protection approaches, and Psychosocial Adviser and Roster Member at ACT Alliance, providing technical support in mental health and psychosocial support. Moreover, Claire has experience as an Inclusion Specialist at Christian Aid, managing humanitarian programs with an emphasis on the Leave No One Behind Agenda, and has held roles at CAFOD, Medair, and All We Can in program management and support. Claire holds a Master of Science in Political Economy of Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London and a Master of Arts in English Literature and Psychology from the University of St Andrews.
