Markus Enders

Markus Enders currently serves as Vice-Président of the Direction des Risques at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), managing the risk for CDPQ's Real Estate Portfolio since April 2024. Previously, Markus was the Chief Risk Officer at Ivanhoé Cambridge and served on the Board of Directors for Otera Capital. With extensive experience in global credit risk management, Markus held various leadership roles at Helaba, including General Manager, and served on the supervisory board of OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Hypo Real Estate Bank International and Chairman of the Management Board at Hypo Real Estate Capital S.A. Markus started a career in real estate credit analysis and risk management at Bayerische Vereinsbank AG and HVB. Educational credentials include a Diplomkaufmann in Banking and Marketing from the University of Bayreuth and an Erasmus Scholarship at Audencia.
