Andrea Wakefield Burns

Andrea Wakefield Burns serves as the Associate Executive Director of Cal Poly Corporation since April 2019 and is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Cal Poly Women in Business Association since January 2021. Previous experience includes senior leadership roles at LALA U.S., Inc. and Borden Dairy Company, where significant contributions included building strategic teams and overseeing major financial projects. Andrea has a strong background in finance, with over 24 years at Frito-Lay resulting in leadership of finance teams for national accounts and divisional P&L management. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas and a BS in Accounting from Colorado State University.
