Joe has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry and has been a pioneer in the launch and management of backup and disaster recovery solutions for AWS cloud customers. Joe has led product development and innovation for Cloud Daddy, overseeing engineering, prototyping, website design, documentation writing, business development, marketing, and sales. Under Joe's leadership, Cloud Daddy achieved recognition with a first-to-market data protection product that also safeguarded backups from cyber attacks. The company's products have won numerous awards, including the Cloud Computing Magazine 2018 Backup and Disaster Recovery Award, and it has been named among the Network World Top 10 Startups. Joe has a proven track record in building and scaling businesses and is passionate about helping startups grow and succeed.

Joe Merces pursued a B.S. in Computer Science from Kean University. Joe then pursued an M.S. in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Lastly, they pursued an A.S. in Computer Science from Union College - NJ.
