Ronnie Slimp

Ronnie Slimp serves as the Director of Affordable Student Housing and Climate Programs Lead at California Community Colleges since August 2021, overseeing the Affordable Student Housing Grant Programs and leading climate action initiatives. Previously held roles at California Community Colleges included Specialist in Facilities Planning and Utilization, focusing on statewide capital outlay planning and infrastructure project management. Ronnie also managed significant climate and housing grants while serving as SIMPL Project Manager at Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. Additional experience includes pastoral roles in various churches, employment training with INALLIANCE, and leadership positions in educational support organizations. Ronnie holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, a Graduate Certificate in Public Financial Management from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
