Government Relations and Legislative Affairs

The Government Relations and Legislative Affairs team at the California Community College System is responsible for advocating for policies and funding that support community colleges at both the state and federal levels. They work closely with legislators, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure that the needs of the 2.1 million students are effectively represented and met. This team also manages outreach and marketing efforts to promote the benefits of community college education and workforce training programs.
