Janice Sutherland

Janice Sutherland is an experienced Information Systems Analyst currently employed at the California Department of Water Resources since March 2009. In this role, Janice manages projects within the Environmental Services Division, focusing on migrating data to ORACLE/SQL Server web environments. Janice has been instrumental in establishing an Enterprise GIS infrastructure using ESRI products and is the GIS Liaison and ArcSDE administrator for the Bay Delta Conservation Program. Previous experience includes positions at the Franchise Tax Board and the Department of Consumer Affairs, with expertise in systems testing, mainframe operations, and various programming environments. Janice holds a BS in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, along with multiple associate degrees in Geographic Information Systems and Data Processing.
