Rodney Prasad

Rodney Prasad is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of hydroelectric power utility engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer at the California Department of Water Resources since December 2011, Rodney has also held positions as an Associate Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer and Electrical Engineer within the same organization. In addition, Rodney has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at American River College from June 2012 to January 2016. Prior roles include Applications Engineer at Tesco Controls, Inc. and Manufacturing Automation Engineer at DMG MORI USA. Rodney holds both a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
