Paul Lanois

Paul Lanois is an experienced legal professional specializing in privacy law and compliance. Currently serving as an Executive Committee Member of the Privacy Law Section at California Lawyers Association and Co-Chair for the San Jose Chapter of OneTrust PrivacyConnect, Paul also holds the position of Director at Fieldfisher, where responsibilities include advising clients on global data protection and cybersecurity compliance matters. Paul has contributed to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) through various advisory boards and has taught “Privacy Compliance” at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Previous roles include Legal Secondee at Facebook and Senior Legal Counsel at Credit Suisse. Paul earned multiple academic degrees, including an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Doctor of Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
