Chris Kimball

Chris Kimball serves as President Emeritus of California Lutheran University, where leadership spanned from April 2008 to present and emphasized excellence in liberal arts and professional studies within a Lutheran tradition. Prior experience includes membership on the Presidents Council of the American Red Cross until September 2020, board membership at New West Symphony (2013-2014), and board member at United Way of Ventura County (2009-2013). From 2000 to 2006, Chris Kimball held the title of Provost and Dean of the College at Augsburg College. Academic credentials include a PhD and MA in History from the University of Chicago, as well as a BA in History from McGill University.
