John Carpenter

John Carpenter brings extensive experience in construction management and inspection services, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Inspector of Record and Project Manager at California State University, Northridge since November 2007, John oversees a range of projects campus-wide. In addition, John has operated as President of ISPI, providing onsite inspection services for certified projects. Notable past roles include Project Inspector for significant developments such as a $50 million Student Recreation Center and participation in the Valley Performing Arts Complex project. John’s expertise encompasses managing complex project inspections, coordinating contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and building standards across various educational institutions. Education includes attendance at Pepperdine University and Santa Rosa College.
