Guido van Maanen

Guido van Maanen has extensive experience in operations management within the restaurant industry. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Call Your Mother since October 2023, Guido previously held the position of Area Leader at sweetgreen, overseeing an 11-restaurant portfolio from June 2020 to August 2023. Guido's background includes significant roles at Famous Dave's of America, where responsibilities included leading the conversion to franchise ownership for Virginia and Maryland locations and serving as Area Director from 2000 to 2017. Earlier experience includes positions as General Manager at Red River Barbeque and Grille and Damon's International, as well as a Beverage Manager role at Marriott International. Guido holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the Hotel Management School in The Netherlands.
