Brian Ernisse

Brian Ernisse serves as the Vice President and Chief Test Pilot at Calspan Corporation, with full P&L responsibility for the Aerospace business division across five locations. With a background as a graduate of the US Air Force Test Pilot School, Brian has extensive experience as a developmental test pilot for the F-16 and F-22. Prior to Calspan, Brian was the Division Chief at the Air Force Research Laboratory, overseeing a 310-person division with a budget exceeding $128M for research contracts, while also providing safety oversight for R&D flight tests. Brian's military experience includes commanding a squadron in the United States Air Force, managing a $400M budget for national test resources and coordinating classified testing programs. Brian holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Clarkson University.
