Mark Bedlow

Mark Bedlow is the current Trustee at Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust. Mark has previous experience working as the Chairman and Director for Joint Council for Qualifications from September 2015 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for representing the eight largest awarding organisations in the UK. From March 2013 to July 2019, Mark also worked as the Director of Regulation and Business Performance, and Responsible Officer for OCR. In this role, they were responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of awards, the relationship with all of OCR’s regulators, risk management and the Programme Management Office. Mark was also key in transitioning into the organisation further interim CEOs, and in the creation and implementation of OCR’s current strategy.

Mark Bedlow has a BA in Economics & Accounting from the University of Leeds. Mark also has a certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in FCA. Mark is currently enrolled in the Advanced Leadership Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School.
