Majid Davoodi

Majid Davoodi, P.Eng. has over 25 years of experience in the field of metallurgy and process engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Metallurgist at Cameco Corporation since July 2013, Majid leads and mentors the Metallurgy Department while overseeing its operations. Previous roles include Senior Process Engineer at Ausenco, where Majid led the design for the Sukari Gold Project, and Senior Process Design Engineer at Lycopodium, responsible for multiple mineral processing projects. Experiences extend to positions at Mineral Engineering Technical Services, Curtin University, Almahdi Aluminium Complex, Iran Alumina Co., and Tolypers. Majid holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University and a significant background in research, process design, and quality management across diverse sectors.
