Ingrid Weatherby Hawkins

Ingrid Weatherby Hawkins, MEd, NBCT, is a highly experienced Health and Physical Education Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since March 2015, where responsibilities also include coaching varsity golf, softball, and men's and women's cross country teams. With previous experience at Summit Charter School from August 2011 to March 2015, Ingrid held multiple coaching roles, including Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach, Head Girls Basketball Coach, and Physical Education and Health Educator. Additionally, Ingrid has been involved with Camp Merrie-Woode as a counselor and whitewater trip leader during the summer since May 2005. Ingrid's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in General Studies Education from North Carolina State University and a Master's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Western Carolina University.
