Laurentiu Simion

Laurentiu Simion is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in database management, infrastructure solutions, and technology architecture. Since June 2013, Laurentiu has been serving as an IT Consultant at Canaccord Financial, focusing on data management and performance metrics. Previously, Laurentiu worked as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect at IBM Canada Ltd., where responsibilities included IT solution architecture and infrastructure assessments. Prior to that, Laurentiu held multiple roles at Broadridge Financial Solutions, including Director of Technology and Infrastructure, overseeing budget management and solution architecture, and Service Support Manager, where expertise in ITIL v3 processes was developed. Laurentiu's career began with roles in systems integration and applications engineering. Laurentiu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunications with a focus on computer systems and application development from Polytechnic University, Bucharest.
