David Ayre

David Ayre has extensive experience in treasury and finance, currently serving as Treasurer and previously as Deputy Treasurer at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) since May 2015. Prior roles include Director of Treasury at Mitel from June 2014 to May 2015, and Senior Treasury Officer at CMHC from July 2009 to May 2014. David Ayre also held the position of Manager, Treasury Operations at Mitel from 2004 to June 2009, and served as Assistant Treasurer/Treasury Analyst at Newbridge/Alcatel from 2000 to 2004. David Ayre's career began at Newbridge, where responsibilities included Finance from 1998 to 2000. David Ayre holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
