Juan Carlos Jimenez is an accomplished academic and researcher with a diverse background in human geography and environmental studies. Currently serving as a Course Instructor, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto since 2019, Juan Carlos also engages in research as a PhD Researcher with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and collaborates with Western University. Previously, Juan Carlos held research positions at Mount Allison University and the Hispanic Development Council, as well as a junior researcher role at Humboldt Center Nicaragua. Juan Carlos has experience as a consultant with Doctors for Doctors/Nurses for Nurses and has coordinated projects with Podcasts for Peace and Pueblito Canada. Juan Carlos holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Equity Studies and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
