Ion Spataru

Ion Spataru is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in system administration and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a System Administrator at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since November 2018, Ion successfully planned and migrated critical web applications, earning an Instant Award for exceptional performance. Previous roles include Linux and Security Administrator at Distributel, where Ion managed Linux systems and security protocols, as well as IT Administrator positions at Kanatek Technologies Inc. and RjR Innovations, where significant infrastructure migrations and upgrades were executed. Ion has also provided IT support at Davidson Violette & Associates Inc. and Microrama Informatique Inc., and founded Nero-Com, an IT service provider. Ion is a graduate of the Technical University of Moldova, holding a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering.
