Janie Wang

Janie Wang is a seasoned Product Designer with extensive experience in fintech and community-driven projects. Currently at Candor since June 2021, Janie leads the design and launch of a consumer fintech product and collaborates with the SEC to develop a B2B beta product. Prior to Candor, Janie served as Board Lead at Nova, overseeing a team focused on technological solutions for underserved communities, and played key roles in product design at Canopy, where strategic design and user research were emphasized. An internship at The Los Angeles Design Group involved developing design proposals for LACMA, while earlier experiences included strategic planning and content design roles for various organizations, demonstrating a strong foundation in design and social impact. Janie holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Architectural Studies and Design | Media Arts from UCLA.
